Statement - New Scam attempts on Exabytes clients

Dear Valued Customers,


A new wave of scam activity targeting Exabytes showed up recently using unknown domains.


It targets certain Exabytes clients by disguising the email content with the Exabytes Logo and including Exabytes detail in signatures.

1, Appoint a third party to pass the message.

Every communication between Exabytes and our clients uses the following domains only, we will not appoint any third party to notify our clients behalf of us.

2, Fake Password Reset Notification.

Exabytes will not ask you to log in to your mailbox/control panel or any login for security measurement/verification via system notification.


3, Fake Account Active Verification.

Exabytes will not simply suspend your hosting account without a proper reason/procedure or ask you to log in to a certain unknown link to verify your identity.
