1. First, download the FileZilla application (FileZilla Client) from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client and install it.
2. After installation, open the program, and the following screen should be displayed.
Next, click on the first icon on the left - Site Manager.
3. Click on "New Site", rename it to your preferred name, such as yourdomain.com.
Then enter the connection details and click "OK" to save the configurations.
Host: ftp.yourdomain.com or IP Address
Port: 21
Logon type: Normal
Username: FTP Username
Password: FTP Password
4. Return to the main screen, click the small arrow to the right of "Site Manager," and choose the name created in the previous step.
5. Connection established.
You will see the server files on the right side, while your local files will be on the left.
At this stage, you have successfully connected to the server.
You can transfer files between the two locations by dragging and dropping, double-clicking on them, or right-clicking to choose transfer options.
Note:
- For Linux cPanel servers, upload your website files to the "public_html" folder.
- For Windows servers (WebSitePanel, MSPControl, SolidCP), upload your website files to the "wwwroot" folder.
- For Plesk servers (Linux and Windows), upload your website files to the "httpdocs" folder.
