Fetch emails using Gmail

In case you manage several email accounts, you can access all of them through Gmail. Gmail’s Mail Fetcher feature initially imports all your previous messages into Gmail and then continues to retrieve new messages sent to your other account. You can link up to 5 accounts, which can include Gmail and various other email services.

1. Log into your Gmail account.

2. Click the gear icon located at the top right.

3. Choose See all settings.

4. Navigate to the Accounts and Import tab.

5. In the Check mail from other accounts section, click on Add a mail account.

6. Input the complete email address of the additional account and then click Next.

7. With "Import emails from my other account (POP3)" selected, click Next

8. Enter your Username (Full Email Address), Password, POP Server (mail.domain.com), and Port: 110

9. You will have several options to choose from. Here are our suggested settings:

* Keep a copy of retrieved messages on the server - Check this box. Otherwise, the emails in your other account will be removed, and you’ll only be able to view them in Gmail.

* Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail - Uncheck this option as it pertains to our Exabytes server.

* Label incoming messages - Check this box if you’d like to easily identify which emails in your inbox are from this account.

* Archive incoming messages - Do not check this. Only check it if you don’t want to see new messages from the other account in your inbox.

10. Click Add Account. If you encounter an error message during setup, click the Show error details link to learn more about the issue.

11. Once your account is successfully added, you’ll be asked if you want to send mail as this address. This allows you to write messages in Gmail while having them appear to be sent from your other email account.

If you wish to stop receiving emails from your other account in Gmail, follow these steps:

1. Open the Gmail account you’ve been receiving mail in.

2. Click the gear icon at the top right.

3. Choose Settings.

4. Select the Accounts and Import tab.

5. Locate the Check mail from other accounts (using POP3) section.

6. Click delete next to the account you wish to stop receiving emails from.

Please note that any emails you have previously received will remain in Gmail until you delete them.
