What's New in MYNIC?

We are excited to share a major milestone in MYNIC's journey towards globalization. MYNIC has successfully transitioned to a new registry system, representing an important advancement in enhancing domain services and broadening its global presence.

As an authorized partner of MYNIC, Exabytes will implement the migration to the new registry system starting July 25, 2024. Here are some of the thrilling updates and enhancements you can anticipate:

  1. Closure of MYNIC Selfcare Portal: The MYNIC Selfcare Portal is no longer accessible for domain modifications. You can now manage your .MY domains via the Exabytes Billing System. For more information, please refer here.

  2. Launch of Auto-Renew Grace Period (ARGP): For details on the new .MY domain lifecycle, please see the attachment below. For a detailed understanding, please refer here.

  3. Change of Registrant: Modifying registrant details is now classified as a change of information and will no longer incur charges. For guidance on how to update registrant/domain contact information, please refer here.

  4. Domain Transfer Between Registrars: Transferring a domain now necessitates an authorization code (also referred to as an EPP code). Domain transfers will include a one-year renewal and are subject to applicable charges. For further details, please refer here.

We remain dedicated to consistently improving our services to better assist you. For additional support, please feel free to reach out to us at domain@exabytes.my.
