Announcement - Service Disruption on TM network

[UPDATE]

 Last occurrence on TM port was 2.51pm, and we are still waiting for a confirmation from TM on the status of their port stability.



Dear Clients,


We wanted to inform you that we are currently experiencing intermittent connectivity issues with Telekom Malaysia (TM) that began earlier this morning, following their scheduled maintenance last night. The issue has become more frequent since 12:00 PM.


Details of the Service Disruption:
The disruption appears to be caused by an issue with the TM port at the exchange. Their team is actively investigating the root cause.


Impact on Service:
When the TM port goes down, our traffic is automatically rerouted through an alternative upstream provider. However, the sudden spike in traffic over the private peering with TM has led to congestion, which may result in slower or unstable connectivity.


We are working closely with both TM and our upstream provider to investigate and resolve the situation as quickly as possible.


Our technical team is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as we learn more.
