Announcement: Gmail and Yahoo's new requirements for email senders

Dear Valued Clients,

Gmail and Yahoo plan to enforce new requirements for email senders starting in February 2024.
To ensure your emails reach your recipients' inboxes, you'll need to comply with Gmail and Yahoo's new requirements.

1. Deploy at least SPF and DKIM during domain verification.

For EBuzzzz
For clients that use our default DNS:
For clients that use Cloudflare:

If you are unsure about it, may submit a case to the related department via https://support.exabytes.my

2. Your sending domain or IPs have valid reverse DNS records.

Don’t worry, Exabytes will take care of the IPs on both shared hosting, EBuzzzz and SendGrid.
For VPS/Dedicated servers client may submit a case via [email protected] to verify.

3. Keep spam rates below 0.3% (According to Postmaster Tools)

If any of the recipients mark one of your emails as spam, your spam rate increases.
If your spam rate is too high, your emails will more likely be marked as spam and will not make it to the inbox.

Suggestion:
Housekeeping on your list and do not purchase any email database.
You may subscribe to Google Postmaster Tools to review the rating

4. You shouldn’t use a free email address (@gmail, @googlemail, @yahoo, etc) as a Sender.

Starting in February, the DMARC policy on Google will change from “none” to “quarantine”.
Please perform any email communication using your domain.
