How to check your server IP?

If your domain name is made up of your company name, for example, exabytes.com.my which is owned by Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd, DNS will be the business directory that helps your web visitors to find the location to communicate with your site/company.DNS has two major records that will decide your visitors' direction: WWW and MX

WWW is Server that provides your domain Web service It tells the visitors to go to this location when they want to view your website.
MX is Server that provides your domain Mail service It tells the sender's postmaster to deliver emails using your domain to this destination.

How to find out your Web IP/Mail server IP? 

Both can be identified using a PING TEST.mail.exabytes.com.my - the returned IP indicates the Mail server that hosts your website.Sample:
Ping has started.
PING mail.exabytes.com.my (110.4.45.5): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 110.4.45.5: icmp_seq=0 ttl=62 time=15.512 ms
64 bytes from 110.4.45.5: icmp_seq=1 ttl=62 time=16.898 ms

How to perform a PING TEST on a Windows terminal
1. Click Start > Click Run.
2. Key in "cmd" on the text field, and click "OK".
3. On the command prompt, key in "ping mail.exabytes.com.my" or "ping mail.exabytes.com.my", and press enter.
 
How to perform a PING TEST on a Mac terminal
1) Go to Menu. Select 'Applications'.
2) As the application window opens, double click on the Utilities folder.
3) As the Utilities window opens, double click on the Terminal icon.
4) Next, perform a ping test for the Hostname you chose.For example: ping mail.exabytes.com.my or ping mail.exabytes.com.my

How to check if your administrate virtual machine host under the affected server list?
In order to verify your operation virtual machine under the affected range, may refer to the step below.
  1. Login to client area login portal via portal (https://billing.exabytes.com/mypanel/clientarea.php
  2. Proceed to click on "Services" > "My Services" from the drop down option list. 
  3. Select and click on your active VPS service that intended to verify.
  4. Under the load out result, click on "Additional Information" tab. 
  5. The "nodeid" with the reference number shall turn up on your screen. 
  6. Verify if the nodeid exists under above affected list. If the number match, that implies your administrate virtual machine are under the scheduled maintenance list and disruption shall expect while the maintenance window kick start.
