Let’s Encrypt is a complimentary service that allows users to encrypt sensitive data on their domain for a duration of 90 days. After this period, renewal is necessary, which can be automated through a Scheduled Task.
1. Log in to the Plesk Control Panel.
2. Select Website & Domains.
3. Choose the domain for which you wish to install the SSL certificate. Scroll down and select the SSL/TLS Certificate option, then click the Get it free button for Let’s Encrypt.
4. Input your email address in the designated field.
Ensure that the ‘Include the “www” subdomain for the domain and each selected alias’ box is checked.
Click the Install button.
Note :
In most cases, you will not need to enable the “Secure the wildcard domain (including www and webmail)” option.
However, if you wish to install a wildcard SSL certificate, please refer to the Wildcard SSL certificate.
5. After the installation is complete, you will be redirected to the hosting page.
A success message will confirm that the process has been completed.
6. Click on the Hosting Settings.
7. In the Security section, ensure that the following options are enabled and selected:
