How to Manage the FREE DNS Zone via Client Area Portal

Part 1:

To begin, you must update the domain nameserver as indicated below to link it to our complimentary DNS ZONE. Please note that it may take approximately 18-72 hours for the DNS modifications of your domain to fully take effect.

**If your domain name is already associated with certain DNS Zone records, it is advisable to complete "Part 2" first in order to minimize downtime before altering the domain nameserver.

For domains under Exabytes.my and Exabytes.com

For domains under Exabytes.sg

If your domain name ends with .my, please contact the Technical Contact for the domain for assistance in updating the nameserver. You can find out who your domain's Technical Contact is here.

Part 2:

Next, to manage your domain through the client area, please follow these steps:

1. Log into our client area billing system at 

MY: Please log in here

US: Please log in here

SG: Please log in here

 2. From the top menu, navigate to > Domains > Manage DNS.

3. Click on Add New Zone and enter the domain name you wish to set up.

4. Once you have entered the domain name under "Zone Name," you may click Add Zone again.  

(Optional: You may also input the IP address for your server connected to your hosting plan if you wish to direct this domain there.)

5. Your domain DNS zones will appear at the bottom of the list.

6. After the zone is added, you can begin adding A records, CNAME, TXT, and MX records. Simply click the EDIT button next to the domain.

7. To add a new record, scroll down to the bottom. You will find an Add Record section. 

8. Remember to click on Save Changes for each DNS record you modify.
