Migrate DNS record from DNS Zone Hosting to Free DNS Zone

To transfer the domain DNS records from your current DNS Zone hosting to Exabytes Free DNS Zone, the process consists of two main parts as detailed below.

**Please be aware that there will be a certain period of downtime for your services, as the update to the domain nameserver necessitates a propagation time of approximately 18-72 hours before it can be fully resolved. Thus, it is recommended that you copy the DNS records from the current DNS Zone Hosting and paste them into the Free DNS Zone before proceeding with the nameserver update to reduce downtime.

Part 1: Transfer the DNS records from DNS Zone hosting to Free DNS Zone

1) Log in to the DNS Zone hosting control panel.

2) Click on Domains and then select Edit DNS zone records.

3) All records will be displayed as shown in the example below. Please note down all the DNS records except the NS records as they are no longer needed.

4) Access your billing account and follow the knowledge base here to add all the DNS records into the Exabytes Free DNS Zone. Once all records are added, it should appear as shown in the screenshot below.

5) Please click on the Save Changes button.

Part 2: Update Domain DNS
