Fraud Order

What is a Fraud Order?

To protect against fraudulent activities, Exabytes employs the minFraud service to minimize fraud occurrences. Our ordering system utilizes a thorough fraud screening process that can identify and automatically cancel fraudulent orders. Through our analysis, we have pinpointed specific traits and patterns linked to fraudulent transactions.

Why Are Your Orders Classified as Fraudulent?

Here are the reasons why your orders have been marked as fraudulent:

Country Mismatch - This occurs when the shipping address differs from the IP location.
High Risk Country - Orders originating from high risk countries will be declined.
Fraud Risk Score - The fraud score exceeds the threshold we have established due to the aforementioned factors.

If any of these criteria are detected in our system, we will be unable to process your orders, categorizing them as fraudulent.

If your order has a high Fraud Risk Score, a Telephone Verification will take place. You will receive a pin code from our fraud screening system, which you will need to enter on the order page to complete your transaction successfully.

Additionally, please ensure that:

  • You have entered the correct phone number with the appropriate country code so that the pin code can be sent to you.
  • You have provided an accurate mailing address.

What Should I Do If I Do Not Receive the Pin Code?

If you do not receive the pin code, please reach out to the billing department and explain the issue so we can assist you further.
