NOTE:
Please ensure that you are adding the correct record, as changes to the MX record may require a minimum of 4 hours for propagation.
Case Study:
You may want to add a record like the one below to set the MX for domain.com to
127.0.0.1 with a priority of 10. mail IN A 127.0.0.1@ IN MX mail.domain.com[10]
Resolution:
1. Access your Website Panel via http://cp.domain.com or through http://serverhostname.com.
2. Click on "Domains" in the system menu.
3. Select the domain you wish to modify.
4. Click on "Edit DNS Zone Records."
5. Click on "Add Record" to create a new MX record or click on the "Pen"
icon on the left side of the record to modify it.
6. Please use the following format. Don't forget to click "Save" to store the new record you have created.
Record Type: MX
Record Name: (leave empty)
Record Data: mail.domain.com
MX Priority: 1
