What are EAS and EWS 



1) Exchange ActiveSync (EAS)  A protocol created by Microsoft for Exchange, intended for use on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

2) Exchange Web Services (EWS) is a protocol developed by Microsoft for Exchange, designed for desktop email clients on Windows and MacOS. 


Examples of compatible versions include:  Microsoft Outlook 2019, Microsoft Outlook 2015 for Mac from Office 365, Outlook 2011 for Mac, Apple Mail, and the Outlook client for iPad.
