My website is stuck on scanning

When you enter the SEO Tool for the first time, you may sometimes receive an error when reading the website.

The website scan may get stuck or show an error for a variety of reasons:

  • Your website is not published. First, make sure your website has been published successfully / is live and working properly and once this is fixed, please contact our support team to help you restart the scan.

  • Your website sends a redirect. A redirect is used by website owners when they want to send website traffic to a different website than the one originally requested. This rarely happens, but in this case, please contact our support team for help.

For example, the URL "http://wikipedia.com" (with ".com" as domain) is first redirected to *https://www.wikipedia.org/** (with the domain name in .org), where you can navigate to the language-specific site.

  • There is a Cloudflare CDN protection service that changes the network settings of your website. To confirm this, you will need to ask your website developer a support question or if you installed it yourself, you will need to add our website as an exception.

  • Your website is built with dynamic Javascript code or a programming language and the SEO tool cannot know the exact location of your website pages. To verify this, you will need to ask a support question to the content management system you are using or if you have your own website developer to confirm the programming of the website.

If you are sure that the website is working correctly, please contact our support team to help you restart the scan or to confirm if your problems are as mentioned above.
